Togo Embassy Burkina Faso
Want to take a trip to Burkina Faso? I’ll explain how to get a tourist visa to get to this country below. The whole process is actually pretty straight forward and simple (refreshing when compared to the red tape of some of its neighboring countries in Africa).
Visa required for U.S. citizens: Yes.
Visa required for non-U.S. citizens: Visas are required by EVERYONE EXCEPT the following nationalities: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo.
If you’re inside the U.S., the best consulate to process visas for those passport holders living in the United States is as follows:
Embassy of Burkina Faso
2340 Massachusetts Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20008
Tel: (202) 332-5577
- International Certificate of Vaccination (yellow fever)
- Self-addressed prepaid Express Mail envelope which you can get at your nearest U.S. Post Office (in order for the consulate to mail you your visa)
- I recommend you go to your nearest Post Office and get a U.S. Postal Service Money Order.
- Processing time is around 3 business days, but you can speed that up (1 business day) if you pay an additional US$50 per visa.
The embassy/consulate will mail you your passport with visa
